spring up is two weeks brimming with cultural events at the University of Leeds.

Step onto our campus this March for workshops, professional theatre shows, lunchtime concerts and exclusive panel events. Take part in a dance workshop, discover art like never before in our VR experience and bring the family for an adaptation of Rapunzel.

Most tickets either free or under a fiver!

stage@leeds is located on Cromer Road near to the Leeds University Union. From the Parkinson Building on Woodhouse Lane, turn down the left handside and go under the arches. Keep walking straight until you see a wavy sculpture. Turn left past this then immediately right to the precinct. Turn left immediately before the Student Union where you will take a path to stage@leeds.

A concert hall form the outside, surrounded by grass and trees

Clothworkers Centenary Concert Hall is located on Cavendish Road. As you face the Parkinson Building on Woodhouse Lane turn down the street to the left. Cars can travel down this road. This is Cavendish Road and as you keep walking you should see the Workshop Theatre on your left. Keep walking and you will see the Clothworkers Centenary Concert Hall on your right.

The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery and Treasures of the Brotherton are located inside the Parkinson Building on Woodhouse Lane. This is a huge stone building with steps up to the main entrance. There is also an accessible entrance. When arriving each gallery is located to the left (The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery) and right (Treasures of the Brotherton) of the main doors.

Getting to campus

By train

The nearest train station to campus is Leeds.

It is then approximately 26 minute walk to campus. You can view the route here.

By bus

Regular bus services from the city centre stop outside the Parkinson Building on campus. To see the full bus timetable please click here.

By car

From 5pm – 7am the Orange Zone on campus is open to the public with prices from £2 per hour. Find out more here.

Public parking is available on Woodhouse Lane during 7am – 5pm. More information can be found here.
