Green spaces around campus

21 art installations across our campus
Head outside and stroll across the open, green spaces of our University campus to see 21 art installations from names such as Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth.
To discover the inspiration behind each piece, and hear fascinating personal anecdotes from the artists, tune into our audio trail.
Our collection of Public Art is free and accessible for you to enjoy.
Where to start?
The Public Art Trail map (PDF) will guide you on a self-led exploration of our 21 pieces of Public Art.
Or you can pick up a free map from one of our Galleries in the Parkinson Building, which is close to the start of the trail. See how to get to the Galleries.
We recommend 90 minutes to two hours to see everything, but you can alter the route to suit your needs. Of course, you can return at any time to see the artworks you missed or revisit old favourites.
Audio trail
Explore our Public Art with the audio trail. At each artwork, simply pop in your headphones and scan the QR code.
You’ll be whisked into the world of art as you listen to stories and insights from the artists themselves, their families, experts and curators.
Access the full Soundcloud playlist to hear the interviews.
