Campus Greenery Trail
The Campus Greenery Trail – one of six Campus Reimagined mini projects, voted for by University of Leeds students and staff – highlights green spaces across campus and simple ways to enjoy them.
Our map brings together guided trails, such as the Campus Tree Trail, with biodiversity monitoring, information boards, opportunities to get involved, and even indoor installations to help bring the outside in!
As you wander around, the Campus Greenery Trail encourages you to engage with campus green spaces in three ways: 1) Take notice of biodiversity and nature 2) Rest and reflect in green spaces and 3) Get involved.
You can find information boards for the greenery trail in Chancellor’s Court, and by Esther Simpson. Around campus, you can also scan the QR codes on waymarkers to check the map and see what’s nearby, or see the Biodiversity Spotlight board behind the Students Union’ to learn more about some of the species we have on campus.
We hope this trail helps you to find new favourite places and ways to enjoy campus biodiversity and green spaces.
